After Mahesh Bhatt, It’s Pooja Bhatt now who is getting threatening calls. Yes it’s true the actor turned director strangely has been targeted by the underworld for reasons best known to the extortionist. Yesterday afternoon Mahesh Bhatt got a threatening call from gangster Ravi Poojari who asked him to pay up Rs 10 crore as extortion and minutes latter daughter Pooja Bhatt also received an anonymous threatening call on her cell.
Immediately after that the father-daughter duo approached the Mumbai police. And the police immediately swung into action and provided them with the required security. Pooja who was basking in the glory of her recently released and critically acclaimed film Dhokha confirms the news to us, “Yes, I also received a threatening call and I have policemen stationed outside my door. I have been provided with 24 hours security by the Mumbai police.”
And immediately afterwards she switched her cell off and she along with her father remained incommunicado.
